The City of Gosnells is susceptible to a range of emergencies and natural disasters. Whilst natural disasters cannot be prevented there are steps that residents can take to better prepare themselves and their property.

The City has an active Local Emergency Management Committee that plans for the management and recovery from unexpected disasters and emergencies.

The Emergency Operations Centre, located at 16 Horley Road Beckenham, houses both the Gosnells Bush Fire Brigade and the Gosnells State Emergency Service.
