Ordinary Council Meetings
Ordinary Council Meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, excluding January which is set aside for Councillors’ annual leave. Meetings commence at 7:30pm in the Council Chamber and the public are welcome to attend.
The Council Meeting Agenda is placed on this website on the Thursday prior to the meeting date. The Council Meeting Minutes are placed on this website on the Friday following the meeting date.
Public questions or statements can be made during Item 6 of the Agenda - Question Time for the Public and the Receiving of Public Statements.
Standing Committee Meetings
The Audit Committee and the Public Art Committee are the only Standing Committees of Council. The Audit Committee meets quarterly or as required, however attendance at these meetings is not open to members of the public. The Public Art Committee meets as required and attendance is open to members of the public.
Special Council Meetings
Other Meetings
From time to time a Special Council Meeting may be convened by the Mayor or a third of the Councillors to address a specific issue.
All meetings, with the exception of the Audit Committee and those meetings dealing with matters deemed by the Chief Executive Officer to be of a confidential nature, are open to members of the public.
Public Art Committee Meetings
The last Public Art Committee Meeting for the City of Gosnells was held on Friday 6 July 2018.
The next meeting of the Public Art Committee will be advertised in local newspapers and on the City's website. Public are welcome to attend.
