The City of Gosnells Ghost Walks events are an immersive historical experience.

Local legend claims Gosnells is home to the spirits of timber mill workers and early settlers who built a thriving community in Orange Grove, Gosnells and Kenwick in the 1860s.

Find out for yourself on a guided moonlit tour of Wilkinson Homestead and Kenwick Pioneer Cemetery.

Enjoy an evening touring these local landmarks and exploring the area’s history. Along the lantern-lit way, you'll meet friendly ghost performers telling colourful tales of the many characters who lived and worked in the district more than 150 years ago.

Combining history, theatre and the great outdoors, Ghost Walks are a fantastic way to spend a moonlit night. Experience the local environment in a new way with this exciting family entertainment.

Event Details

Ghost Walks have been reimagined for 2023 to highlight some of the City’s significant historical sites: Wilkinson Homestead and Kenwick Pioneer Cemetery.

Each tour night, four groups of around 25 walkers are spaced at 30-minute intervals. The first group departs at 6.15pm, and each event takes between 90 minutes to two hours.

On return to Wilkinson Homestead, enjoy a light supper, tour the grounds further, chat with the volunteers and earn your Ticket of Leave.

These walks include some steps and uneven surfaces and prams and strollers are not permitted.

Ghost Walks are alcohol and smoke free events.
