The City of Gosnells has an active Local Emergency Management Committee, formed under the Emergency Management Act 2005, who meet regularly to:

  • Advise and assist the City of Gosnells in ensuring that Local Emergency Management Arrangements are established for the district.
  • Liaise with public authorities and other persons in the development, review and testing of Local Emergency Management Arrangements.
  • Carry out other emergency management activities as directed by the State Emergency Management Committee or prescribed by the Emergency Management Regulations.

Local Emergency Management Arrangements

The City of Gosnells Local Emergency Management Arrangements serve as a guide to assist the City in the:       

  • prevention of,
  • preparedness for,
  • response to and,
  • recovery from emergencies that could occur within the City and includes the City’s Local Recovery Plan.
