Public open space (POS) includes your local parks, sporting fields and conservation areas and is vital in shaping liveable suburbs and healthy communities.

POS creates a sense of wellbeing and provides positive lifestyle and recreation opportunities, as well as a place to meet, relax or take part in sporting activities.

The City of Gosnells has developed a Strategy to prioritise the development of POS and ensure it is well managed.

Community involvement is vital during the Public Open Space Strategy and many projects require feedback from residents about park design and development, as well as rezoning, disposal or land acquisition.

The City has an online consultation hub Your Say Gosnells which detail City projects and provides an opportunity for residents to share their feedback and ideas.Â
