Proposed Cat Amendment Local Law
The City has been advised by the Department of Local Government that the proposed local law would not be approved by State Parliament. Therefore, Council agreed at its meeting on Tuesday 26 July 2022 not to continue with this proposal and to develop a new local law.
Feedback on the previous proposal will be taken into consideration when the new amendment is drafted. Further consultation will take place shortly.
