This linear park located near Gosnells Town Centre and behind Gosnells Knowledge Centre and Addie Mills Centre adjoins the Civic Centre Gardens to Station Street. A serene linkage along the Canning River with ample recreational opportunities.
A hidden playground and picnic area amongst the tall stands of trees providing valuable shade with plenty to see and do. With four barbecues, tables and seats provided and a bright colourful playground with equipment for all ages including slide, swing, balance and a grand climbing area. A nearby grassed amphitheater seating area is also provided.
An extensive pathway network that links the surrounding streets to the park with a Tree Top Walk and Riverside Board walk which was opened on 20 February 2007 that can be accessed from behind the Knowledge Centre. You will be taken on an adventure with stunning views over the playground and picnic area, making it wheel chair friendly.
This park retains a range of historical aspects of Gosnells including remnant orchard trees and infrastructure recognising the work that earlier generations achieved in making Gosnells what it is today. Information signs that are around the park can provide more details.
As a river park a range of quality natural riverine vegetation can be viewed throughout the entire park which is also home to a variety of wildlife.
