Spinifex Way Reserve

This neighbourhood reserve adjoining Excelsior Primary School includes a playground under shade sails with a nearby picnic table under shelter for small family gatherings.

Viewing opportunities of the large lake that supports aquatic plants and wildlife with a peaceful water feature is available. Fountains can be adjusted for special events with two weeks' notice. Fountains may be turned off due to bird nesting. Repairs to fountains can take up to 14 days.

Designated open grassed areas surrounding the playground and a network of footpaths around the reserve allows for park users to access easy and enjoy informal ball games or other recreational pursuits.
