Thornlie Park

Close to Thornlie Bowling Club and Leisure World, this park is home to the Thornlie Tennis Club. 

The park features a wheel-chair friendly carousel and play unit with accessible ramps. Similar to other all abilities playgrounds, the park is fenced with gated pause points, sensory play elements and rubber softfall for wheeled access. It features an accessible drink fountain, accessible seating, shade sails, a 2m wide circular path, landscaping and a grassed area for picnics and also a barbeque, along with a variety of play equipment such as a parent-child swing, basket swing and slides.

With tall stands of trees and valuable large open grassed areas amongst the surrounding residential houses.

An internal pathway provides access to a small children's playground and a nearby basketball ring.
