Corporate Sponsorship – Spring into Summer Community Events

Now that the warmer weather is upon us, the City of Gosnells brings you Spring into Summer – an exciting program of events certain to warm hearts and add bounce to the steps of the young and young at heart.

This family friendly program will include many of the annual events that are firm favourites of our local community, plus some sensational new offerings to amaze, entertain and delight.

Fusion Food and Culture Festival

The Fusion Food and Culture Festival, is held at Mills Park in Beckenham in early November each year.  This exciting event is a fusion of diverse cultures and local talent as we see Mills Park come to life with global market stalls, arts and craft, roving and stage entertainment, cultural activities, cooking demonstrations and tasty foods.

This annual multicultural celebration provides greater opportunities to showcase and engage the many diverse cultures the make up the City of Gosnells.

Fusion Festival is suited for large businesses that can offer cash sponsorships to develop the staging of this amazing event.  It gives sponsors an opportunity to target over 15,000 people including the general community and culturally and linguistically diverse groups.

A variety of levels of sponsorship are currently available for this event including Naming Rights, Major and Supporter level sponsorships.

Australia Day Big Breakfast

The Australia Day Big Breakfast is a popular community event held annually at Centennial Pioneer Park on 26 January to commemorate Australia Day. The event includes an awards ceremony, music, stage performances, children’s activities and entertainment, and a BBQ breakfast served by the Rotary Club of Gosnells. A key focus of this event is utilising local talent for stage performances, and each year the City works closely with various community groups with the facilitation of this event.

This free family event continues to grow, with more people opting to celebrate Australia Day actively in their community, in a family friendly atmosphere.

Each year this event attracts over 2,500 people and therefore is a great opportunity to market to the local community.

A variety of levels of sponsorship are currently available for this event.

Sunset Cinema Series

The Sunset Cinema Series provides residents with a no cost entertainment option for families to attend free monthly outdoor cinema events from December to April each year.

The Sunset Cinema events attract over 3,500 people from the community, providing a great opportunity for local small business sponsors to market products and services to local people.

A variety of levels of sponsorship are currently available for the Sunset Cinema Series including Major and Supporter level sponsorships.

Ghost Walks

The City runs a season of spook-tacular tours, focusing on haunting local history, which have proven incredibly popular over a number of years and in 2023 won the National Award for Local Government – Creativity and Culture. A reimagined walk in 2023 now features new ghosts and new historic locations at Wilkinson Homestead and Kenwick Pioneer Cemetery. All of the stories are anecdotes about real people and their lives.

Jingle All the Way

This joyful free event, Jingle All the Way, transforms the City’s Civic Centre Gardens and Centennial Pioneer Park into a magical Christmas wonderland, with an interactive trail featuring roving entertainers, arts and crafts, large inflatables and light installations, Christmas carols, a community concert and an appearance by Father Christmas to delight the young and young at heart.

Tropic Like It's Hot

Tropic Like It's Hot is a weekend event that brings the biggest pop-up water park and splash zone to the City of Gosnells. Three-hour sessions include unlimited access to more than 20 of the biggest waterslides in Western Australia, a dunk tank, mechanical surfboard, beach volleyball, Mega Supa Soak Arena, giant games and a Mini Splash Zone for the younger children. This event draws around 10,000 people over two days.

Community Concerts

Each year the City presents large-scale or smaller outdoor community concerts to provide an opportunity for local residents and the wider community to experience performances by quality Australian and Western Australian acts. The large-scale concerts feature several acts, food trucks, carnival rides and roving entertainers, while the smaller concerts include food trucks and entertainment.
