Community Clubs Mentoring: Socially Inclusive Communities WA 19/20

City of Gosnells in partnership with Inclusion Solutions is offering free mentoring opportunities for local community clubs.

Specialising in the empowerment of local clubs and organisations, Inclusion Solutions has a variety of resources, tools and knowledge to positively influence clubs/groups to be successful and reflective of our local community. The mentoring relationship will be specific to each club and provide a platform for community groups to attract resources, members and volunteers.

This opportunity is part of the Socially Inclusive Communities WA 2019/20 initiative (SICWA) co-delivered in City of Gosnells with Inclusion Solutions. SICWA delivers specific support to create more inclusive, better-connected communities and promote social inclusion. Local clubs successful in applying for mentoring will be provided best-practice frameworks to follow to be more inclusive and connected within their local community.

Community groups and clubs are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to take part in this mentoring opportunity. For more information on what is included in this mentoring relationship, download the Expression of Interest Form.

Please submit your completed EoI by Friday 29 November 2019 to community@gosnells.wa.gov.au.

Training and Networking Events - Community Groups and Clubs

Looking to improve your club membership? Or diversify your income? The City of Gosnells is hosting workshops to increase the knowledge and skills of local community groups and clubs. Each workshop is an opportunity to network and share ideas.

Participants are encouraged to introduce their clubs by circulating flyers and business.

Upcoming workshops include:

Wednesday 27 November 2019 - Committees Unpacked: Leaders in Clubs - build a strong team of leaders in your community club

Want to share your success? The City invites you to feature your achievements at our workshops!
