Following referral of the Central Maddington ODP to the Western Australian Planning Commission for assessment and determination, the Commission advised on 9 August 2010 that consideration of the ODP has been deferred pending approval of a traffic management plan and a local water management strategy (LWMS).
The City commissioned a transport consultant to undertake the traffic management plan for the ODP area. The City has also completed the water management strategy, which will require approval of the department of water.
