There is a range of information about our City that provides a profile of the local community and economy in addition to forecasts for the City’s future.

The information is free and is designed for use by Council, business, potential investors, organisations, researchers, community groups and the general public interested in the make-up of the Gosnells community.

Community Profile

The Community Profile presents Australian Bureau of Statistics Census data in user friendly tables and charts, with commentary that enables analysis of the characteristics of the local community, changes that have occurred over time and comparisons with other areas.

Community Atlas

The Community Atlas presents key demographic information about the Gosnells community in the form of interactive maps that identify spatial patterns and trends within the City. The information can be used to identify local needs and priorities, support requests for funding or advocacy for local area improvements and plan services and facilities.

Population and Households forecast

The Population and Households forecast is an important planning tool that provides information about the local drivers of population change and forecasts how population, age structure and household types are anticipated to change between 2006 and 2031.

Economy Profile

Based on a combination of Census, National Accounts, Journey to Work, ABS Business Register and other sources, the Economy Profile details the economic role and function of the Gosnells area, how its economy compares to other areas and how it is changing over time.
