Fusion Food and Culture Festival brings Mills Park, at 86 Brixton Street, Beckenham, to life and the City of Gosnells encourages visitors to give careful consideration to getting to and from the event. As we’re expecting huge crowds again this year, and parking is limited, here are some alternatives for getting there:

Shuttle Buses – The City is providing a free shuttle bus service from Beckenham train station and Maddington Central shopping centre, to take visitors directly to and from Mills Park. Keep your eye out for the signage at the Kmart end of Maddington Central, off Herbert Street, and on the eastern side of the train station, at the corner of Bickley Road and Railway Parade.

• Shuttles to the event begin at 4.45pm, departing approximately every 30 minutes. 

• The final shuttle back to Maddington Central departs at 9.45pm.

• The final shuttle back to Beckenham train station departs at 10pm.

The drop-off and collection point at Mills Park will be in front of the entrance to Mills Park Centre / Mills Park Library. For information on our amazing rewards for shuttle bus users, visit the Win a Gift Card page.

Train – If you’re feeling active and don’t want to jump on a shuttle bus, Beckenham train station is just a 1.6km walk from Mills Park. Visit the Transperth website to plan your journey using the Armadale line.

Bike – Take advantage of the excellent cycle path network around Mills Park by riding your bike to and from Fusion Festival. There are plenty of bike racks around the venue, where you can secure your bike – just remember to bring a suitable bike lock. A limited number of bike racks are available.  Please note the City does not take any responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen bikes.

Car – Limited parking will be available at a number of designated areas surrounding Mills Park. We strongly encourage visitors to carpool or park at Maddington Central shopping centre and use the free shuttle bus service.

Drop off - If you are visiting via car and would like to drop your passengers close to the entry, you can utilise the drop off zone in the Mills Park Centre car park.  Enter the carpark via Brixton Street (at the roundabout at intersection of Brixton Street and Sydenham Street) and make your way to the drop off zone. Vehicles are permitted no longer than 5 minutes for drop off and pick up.

ACROD parking – Some ACROD bays are available at the Mills Park Centre car park, for ACROD cardholders.
