Learn about the fascinating history of the Gosnells area and the State Heritage listed Wilkinson Homestead Museum. Share this information with Museum visitors on tours of the Museum site and assist staff with Museum tasks. You will be part of a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic team.
Volunteers are responsible for welcoming visitors to the Museum, taking entry fees and recording visitor numbers, taking tours, answering questions and helping staff with some Museum work, such as cleaning objects and preparing materials for the education program. Training is provided.
Volunteers are rostered to work from 10am-1pm on one Sunday per month, from February to November. Occasionally volunteers are asked to swap or fill dates when more people are needed.
