Learn about the fascinating history of the Gosnells area and the State Heritage listed Wilkinson Homestead. Share this information with visitors on tours of the Museum and site and assist staff with Museum tasks. You will be part of a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic team.
Volunteers are responsible for welcoming visitors to the Museum, recording visitor numbers, taking tours, answering questions and helping staff with some Museum work, such as cleaning objects and preparing materials for the education program. Training is provided.
Volunteers are generally rostered to work from 10am-1pm on one Saturday per month, from February to November. Occasionally volunteers are asked to swap or fill dates when more people are needed.
