Mills Park skate plaza

The Mills Park Skate Plaza is an open, flowing park catering for all ages, skill levels and user groups. Comprising of multiple articulated banks, ledges, rails, hips and transitions, the linear park flows from hips to stepped banks, long ledges and rails, into a four ft high mini ramp with terraced skate-able seating connections, before finishing in a raised banked platform refuge area. Skate-able seats surrounding the park allow opportunity for multiple user groups to occupy the space simultaneously, while also maximising the skate function of the space. A raised garden bed sits within the plaza, providing shade and green space between extended open flat sections and raised terraced skate areas, with countless skate/scooter/BMX obstacles and runs throughout.
