The hugely popular Pop 'n' Rock Symphony will be returning for a second year running in March 2024.

Presented by the City of Gosnells and featuring the iconic Perth Symphony Orchestra, the evening promises an eclectic mix of the songs you know and love.

The following food vendors will be serving up dinner from 5.30pm: Shake Waffle n Roll, East African Coffee, Halal Bros, Hoki Bao, Chips on a Stick, K-Jun Kitchen.

So, roll out your picnic rug and sing and dance along to some all-time favourites on Saturday 9 March 2024 at the Civic Centre Gardens, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND THE EVENT?

No, the event is not ticketed, just come along to enjoy the evening. It is free to attend.

WILL THERE BE SEATING?

Patrons will need to bring their own seating, noting the venue will be divided into sections for picnic rugs, low seating and high seating.

Low seating is considered a beach chair or similar. High seating is considered a camp chair, deck chair or something similar.

WHAT ARE THE FOOD OPTIONS?

Patrons can purchase dinner from the food trucks on site or bring a picnic from home.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Walk or Bike – Take advantage of the path network around Gosnells by walking or riding your bike to and from the Civic Centre Gardens. There are bike racks at the City of Gosnells Civic Centre where you can secure your bike – just remember to bring a suitable bike lock.

Bus – The Civic Centre Gardens are just a 600m walk from Gosnells bus station. Catch any bus to Gosnells station or the 220 bus that arrives on Albany Highway at The Agonis. Visit the Transperth website to plan your journey.

Car – Limited parking will be available at a number of designated areas surrounding Centennial Pioneer Park and the City of Gosnells Civic Centre. Additional parking will also be available at Al Rahman Mosque on Mills Road West.

ACROD Parking – Some ACROD bays are available at the City of Gosnells Civic Centre car park, for ACROD cardholders.

IS THE EVENT SUITABLE FOR FAMILIES?

Yes, Pop ‘n’ Rock Symphony is a family friendly event open to people of all ages.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S RAINING?

The event will still go ahead if it’s raining unless there are severe weather warnings that will compromise the safety of the event. Check our website or Facebook page for any updates regarding cancellation. And check the weather before you head to the event to make sure you’re dressed appropriately. If it’s raining, pack a poncho or raincoat!

CAN I BRING MY PET?

Pets are not encouraged in large crowds. If you do bring your pet, they must be on a leash and under their owners control at all times.
