The Underground is a decked-out youth centre, digital recording studio and live music venue. The youth centre has a pool table, table tennis, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Foosball and heaps of other sweet gear for young people to use during drop-in times.

The Recording Studio is also available to school and community groups during the days and available for hire in the evenings. The studio is staffed by qualified sound engineers. If you have booked the Recording Studio we will provide you with our Beginner’s Guide to Studio Recording, a comprehensive guide to preparing yourself for your first recording session. It will help you and your band prepare yourselves and your music, so you get the most out of your time and money.

The centre also hosts live music nights where young people can perform. These are held once a term during the Late Night Live drop-in sessions.
