The popular Sixty Foot Falls Trail at Ellis Brook Valley will be closed for maintenance between Tuesday 26 April and Friday 27 May.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said the closure would allow the City to carry out essential repair work to improve the trail surface.

“The Sixty Foot Falls Trail is one of our most popular walk trails, so we need to ensure it’s in good condition before the winter rains set in and the falls start to flow again,” she said.

“Ellis Brook Valley is a hidden treasure in the City of Gosnells, filled with diverse and beautiful plants and animals. While the works are underway, walkers can still enjoy the Honeyeater Hollow trail at Ellis Brook Valley, or more walk trails at nearby Hardinge Park.”

Access to Barrington Quarry will not be available during the closure.
