Residents and businesses can access exclusive offers on a range of sustainable living products and services, thanks to the Switch Your Thinking Rewards for Residents and Rewards for Business programs.

The programs make it easier and more affordable for people and businesses across much of Perth to reduce their carbon emissions and environmental impact.

Residents and businesses located within the 16 Switch Your Thinking member Councils are eligible for the discounts.

Armadale Mayor and South East Metropolitan Regional Energy Group Chair Ruth Butterfield said a recent campaign had expanded the number and type of products available.

“We were very pleased with the positive response from local suppliers keen to offer discounts to residents and businesses as part of Rewards for Residents and Rewards for Business,” she said.

“Residents and businesses located in Switch Your Thinking member Council areas can now access an even greater range of sustainable living products and services that will help reduce their environmental impact and carbon emissions, in a cost-efficient way.”

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said Rewards for Residents and Rewards for Business offered valuable and practical resources for local householders and business owners.

“There are more and more sustainable products and technologies available on the market and the Rewards for Residents and Rewards for Business programs list a lot of great ideas in one easy-to-access location, to help you search for the right product,” she said.

“The programs also list products and services you may not have considered before.”

Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale President Rob Coales said the Rewards for Residents and Rewards for Business were worth looking into.

“It simply makes sense to install and use environmental sustainability products at home and work,” he said.

“These products can make your home or business more comfortable, save money in the long term and have a positive impact on the world around us.
