Social Sisters is a program designed to encourage young women to meet, chat, make new friends and support each other through fun activities. Facilitated by our Youth Workers, this all-female program has enjoyed activities such as:

  • Horse Riding 
  • AQWA
  • Ice Skating
  • Roller Skating
  • Mini Golf 

... with many more activities planned! 

Participants

Female attendees must live or attend school in the City of Gosnells to participate.

The age of participants varies according to the workshop and up to the discretion of the facilitators. Please refer to the specific workshop/event for further clarification regarding the minimum permitted age. 

Program days and times

The Social Sisters program runs during the school holidays and places are limited.

July Holiday Mayhem - Social Sisters: Ice Skating

Event date: Tuesday, 15 July 2025

Get your skates and glide around the rink with the girls-only Social Sisters crew at Cockburn Ice Arena. Visit Cockburn ice rink for a 2 hr session and pizza for lunch. Please wear closed in shoes and socks.

Participants are to meet at The Castle youth centre at 9am for roll-call before hopping onto a bus to head to Cockburn Ice Arena. Parents/guardians will be responsible for sourcing alternative transport if participants are late for roll-call.

Registration Requirement

Eligible participants to this excursion are required to meet the following criteria: 

  • Aged 12 - 18 years old.

If your child does not meet the above-mentioned requirements, their registration will be cancelled.
