The City of Gosnells school holiday extravaganza Jump-A-Round was a huge success with almost all sessions selling out across the five-day event.

About 12,500 children (and big kids too) bounced, slid and climbed their way through the 400m inflatable obstacle course from Wednesday 7 October to Sunday 11 October.

Mayor David Goode said the community embraced the new-look course – the biggest in Australia – after last year’s Run-A-Muck event was renamed and expanded.

“The wet sections were especially popular as the weather warmed up and there were plenty of challenges to test the fit, the fast and the fearless, as well as activities for younger children and even spectators,” he said.

“I was impressed with everyone’s energy and enthusiasm and it was great to see so many people from outside the area enjoying what the City of Gosnells has to offer.”

This year’s course featured three sections – two dry courses and one water based – with a range of challenges including the wipeout, adrenaline jump, 60m ultimate challenge and vertical screamer.

Presented by LiveLighter, Jump-A-Round was a great way for families to do something active together during the school holidays.
