The City of Gosnells has gathered information from local agencies and support services, to assist residents who may need some support during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
City youth workers, senior services staff and community development staff are available from 8.30am to 5pm weekdays to connect with local people over the phone, answer their questions and provide support.
As the community faces restrictions and limitations in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19, staff will also be able to direct callers to local support services and volunteering opportunities.
The hotline provides a central point for residents to seek assistance and to find out exactly what support services are available in the community.
While the hotline is not a counselling service, staff are available to listen to people’s concerns, answer questions and provide information that may be of assistance.
Services are available for those seeking information outside of business hours.
