WHY IS THERE A CHARGE THIS YEAR?

Previously, Tropic Like it’s Hot was free to attend. The City of Gosnells is now charging a small fee of $5 per person to attend the event to try and limit no shows and ensuring that all genuine customers get the opportunity to join in the fun.

WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

If you are no longer able to attend the event and have registered for tickets, please ensure you cancel your unused tickets through Bookable. Simply use the ‘manage booking’ link in your ticketing email or email events@gosnells.wa.gov.au as early as possible. By cancelling your tickets online, you’ll make sure that someone else can enjoy the event in your place.

100% of your ticket fee will be refunded to you if you cancel more than 7 days prior to the event (Friday 9 February).  If you cancel your ticket within 7 days of the event, the money will not be refunded to you.

ARE THERE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS TO ATTEND THE EVENT?

Tropic Like It's Hot is an all-ages family friendly event. Children under 8 years or those requiring assistance must be accompanied on the inflatables by a responsible adult. Height restrictions may apply on some inflatables. Children under 3 can enjoy the 'Mini Splash Zone' with paddle pools, mini slides and sandcastle building.

Children must be supervised at all times. The City of Gosnells accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage incurred by attending this event.

WHAT IF THE SESSION I WANT IS SOLD OUT?

In the first instance we recommend you purchase tickets to a session that remains open, if possible.

Otherwise, you can always join the waitlist for your preferred session.

Please note that 1 waitlist = 1 ticket.  For example, if you want 5 tickets, you will need to join the waitlist 5 times.  Each waitlist redemption will be sent to you as a separate email with a link to secure 1 x ticket.  The redemption email is valid for 24 hours before expiring and becoming available to other patrons on the waitlist.

DO I NEED MY PRINTED TICKET?

Tickets can be scanned from your phone as long as the QR code is visible. Tickets must be produced (either printed or with a visible barcode on a mobile device) at the box office for everyone who is entering the event. Please download these prior to lining up to enter.  They will be sent as an attachment when you book, will download as a zip file and will all be pdf files.

If you have a valid Companion Card and will be accompanying some requiring assistance, please show your valid Companion Card to receive free entry at the gate.
