The City's Health Service monitors the design, construction and operation of skin penetration establishments to ensure the establishments comply with relevant legislation.
Skin penetration premises include beauty salons, tattoo studios, body piercing and nail salons.
If you are thinking about setting up a new skin penetration premises you are required to submit an application and plans with the required fee to the City’s Health Service.
