 The Central Maddington ODP and Scheme Amendment No.89 were formally advertised for public comment between July and August 2008, with a large number of submissions being received for both proposals.
The City then presented a report to Council’s 26 May 2009 meeting to enable the consideration of the proposals in light of the submissions received. At this meeting, Council resolved to defer consideration of the proposals to enable a Councillor Workshop.
Following the Councillor Workshop, the proposals were re-presented to Council’s 28 July 2009 meeting, where it was resolved to finally adopt both Amendment No.89 and the Central Maddington ODP. Amendment No. 89 was finalised in March 2010, and the ODP was given approval by WAPC in December 2011.

Development Contribution Plan
The Development Contribution Plan Report was formally advertised for public comment from the July 2013 to August 2013 with a large number of submissions being received.
The City at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 17 December 2013 resolved to adopt the Development Contribution Plan Report with modifications in consideration of concerns raised in the submissions.
