Amherst Village Library temporary closure

Amherst Village Library will be closed for refurbishments from Monday 11 October and will reopen on Thursday 14 October 2021.

A new state-of-the-art Smart Shelf will be installed to provide quick and convenient self-service for patrons returning items. To create space for the new returns unit, the existing shelving layout of the library will also be reconfigured.

The City’s three other libraries will remain open during this period for all library users – Kenwick Library, Thornlie Library and the Knowledge Centre in Gosnells. Online services will also remain available during the refurbishments.
