Creative Kids

Welcome to the wonderous world of Creative Kids - where every week is a new chapter in the story of imagination, exploration, and boundless creativity! 

Dive into a world of boundless creativity as each week unfolds with exciting themed activities, hands-on crafts, and delightful projects that promise laughter, learning and endless possibilities. From whimsical paper crafts to dazzling DIY masterpieces, there's something new and exciting to explore every session. There is something for every child, whether they are a seasoned crafter or a budding artist.

Creative Kids caters for two age groups:

• Creative Kids: a class catering for children aged 2 to 4 years.
• Creative Older Kids: a class catering for children aged 5 to 8 years. 

There is more to Creative Kids than crafting - families will discover a vibrant community of families coming together to celebrate the joy of creativity and connection. Families can share special moments with their children as they collaborate on enchanting creations, fostering a deeper connection, and sparking their creativity in an engaging way. Further, Creative Kids classes are the perfect opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with your little ones in a meaningful and creative way. 

Dates and Location

School Terms

Creative Kids and Creative Older Kids is a paid, 8-week program that operates during the school term. The cost per term is $36.75 per child and registration is required. 

This program runs at the Huntingdale Community Centre (Lot 1645 Holmes Street, Huntingdale 6110) at the following times:

• Creative Kids (2 - 4 years): 9.30am to 10.30am
• Creative Older Kids (5 - 8 years): 3.30pm to 4.30pm

School Holidays

Specialised, themed activities are held during the school holidays.

How to Enrol

Term 2 enrolments are now open. 

• Register for an online Bookable account and register for the class online (classes are listed at the bottom of this page). 
• Review our Cancellation Policy before proceeding to registering your child. 

There are specific classes for different age groups. Please ensure you are registering to attend the session catered for your child's age group. 

Additional Class Information

Please note:

• Public holidays may impact the duration of the paid Creative Kids and Creative Older Kids term programs. 
• Parents are to remain at the program and supervise their children. 
• We understand parents may be required to care for more than one child.  As such, no fees apply to children in prams who need care by the supervising parent or guardian attending the program. 
   

COVID-19 safety protocols

• Hand sanitiser will be available at each session.
• Please do not attend the program if you or your child are unwell.
• Limits on the number of participants allowed in a building may be applied to ensure the health and wellbeing of family and staff. 
• If the maximum venue capacity is reached, you may be asked to wait outside until a family leaves the building. 

Short-Notice Changes to Programs/Events (including Cancellations)

Families schedule these much-loved programs in advance. However, in the event of unexpected circumstances, such as inclement weather or illness, scheduled programs may be subject to alteration or postponement at short notice. To ensure you stay informed and prepared for any changes related to this program, we encourage all participants to stay connected with the City of Gosnells Children and Families Facebook page as the date approaches and keep their contact details up to date on their Bookable account.
