Local Law Review

The City of Gosnells has a number of local laws which regulate and manage activities throughout the City.

Under the Local Government Act 1995, the City is required to carry out periodic reviews of its local laws to determine whether it considers that the local law should be repealed, amended or remain unchanged.

The following City of Gosnells local law is currently under review:

Thoroughfares and Public Places Local Law 2021

A copy of the local law may be viewed at the City’s Civic Centre at 2120 Albany Highway Gosnells between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and at the City's libraries during normal opening hours, or on the City’s website at www.gosnells.wa.gov.au.

Written submissions regarding the local law under review may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 662, Gosnells WA 6990 by 4pm on 11 October 2026.
