Centennial Pioneer Park

The Djarlgarra (Canning River) foreshore and floodplain in Centennial Pioneer Park have undergone significant rehabilitation and restoration work that has produced a model rehabilitated natural landscape.

Holling Park

This neighbourhood park consists of a range of landscaping elements including a large open grassed area framed with mulched garden beds and stands of trees providing valuable shade.

Homestead Park

This neighbourhood park is located next to the Homestead Park Centre (formerly known as Thornlie Community Centre).

Robinson Park

This neighbourhood park has a great open space for families with a beautiful nature-based playground, general leisure and community events.

Jean Garvey Park

This neighbourhood reserve caters for both skaters and BMX riders and is home to the Gosnells Skate Park where a variety of skateboard competitions and clinics where children can learn to ride and improve their skills are held.

Tom Bateman Reserve

This district reserve is home to Baseball WA. Two large ovals accommodate baseball, softball, AFL and gaelic football connected to 5.9 hectares containing the Tom Bateman Reserve Bushland and Wetlands.

Thornlie Park

Close to Thornlie Bowling Club and Leisure World, this park is home to the Thornlie Tennis Club.

Mills Park

This district reserve located adjacent to Roe Highway consists of three large sporting fields which accommodates soccer, cricket and AFL with tennis courts and cricket nets for practice.

Alexandria Park

This neighbourhood reserve largely comprising of a lake with two water features and a footbridge is a picturesque open space.

John Okey Davis Park

The foreshore of Djarlgarra (the Canning River) in John Okey Davis park has been substantially improved from its highly degraded, weed-infested condition.

Centennial Pioneer Park

Lissiman Street Park

A small welcoming park that provides a safe connection between the Gosnells town centre and the train station, providing access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Civic Centre Gardens

The Civic Centre Gardens located adjacent to Albany Highway forms a tranquil and picturesque linkage between the City of Gosnells Administration Centre and Centennial Pioneer Park and is only a few minutes walk from Gosnells Town Centre.

Ruth Avenue Reserve

This neighbourhood reserve is the City's little hidden treasure and known as a tropical oasis due to a variety of flora including a rare species of palm trees.

Brookland Greens

A picturesque linear neighbourhood park just over 6.7 hectares, exists with a range of park infrastructure that supports a variety of recreational opportunities.

Alexandria Park

This neighbourhood reserve largely comprising of a lake with two water features and a footbridge is a picturesque open space.

We have a number of all abilities playgrounds suitable for your next casual play date. Features include:

Playground list

YES (Youth Entertainment Space)

The Youth Entertainment Space, known as YES, boasts a split-level skating plaza with rails and banks, shallow skate bowl for all skill levels and a sealed pump track for BMX, mountain bikes or scooters.

Langford Sports Centre

This district reserve located adjacent to Roe Highway accommodates netball, softball and athletics.

Harmony Fields

This district reserve located near Tonkin Highway has two large ovals which accommodate AFL and cricket as well as five cricket practice nets and an all abilities playground.

Boyle Playground

Boyle Playground caters for all abilities with its basket swing, talking tubes, dual junior slides, double swing set, access ramps and climbing net.

Bracadale Park

Inspired by the nearby wetlands, this playground includes something for everyone. It includes quiet nooks within the garden which provide a sensory experience, while the central zone includes a swing and carousel.

Sutherlands Park

This district reserve is located south of Huntingdale at the corner of Holmes Street and Southern River Road. It consists of six large sporting ovals which accommodates AFL, soccer, cricket, hockey, tee ball and archery with numerous cricket nets for practice.

Conditions

Bookings are not required to hold a family picnic in the park, including use of available barbecues.
Visitors are asked to respect the safety and enjoyment of others sharing these spaces.
When not being used by our sporting clubs for training and competition, the City's sports fields and reserves can be used on a casual basis for special events such as family barbecues, birthdays, community fairs and events.
Booking confirmation is determined by assessing the suitability of the request, potential ground damage, impact on existing user groups and impact on the surrounding residents.
While a formal booking can be made for a specific location within a park, it does not give the hirer sole use of the location as the park remains available to the public at all times. The booking does, however, restrict any other formal events from taking place at the given location at the same time.
A refundable bond (to cover potential parkland damage) may be required dependent on the activity, infrastructure and vehicle access.
