Tender 08/2026 - UV Cured-in Place Pipe - Stormwater Pipe Relining

The City is seeking to engage a Contractor to supply and install ultraviolet-cured in-place (UV CIPP) stormwater pipe relining in three locations within the City.

Deadline is Tuesday 8 September 2026 at 2:00pm (AWST).

Local Planning Policy 1.2 – Rural Development

At its meeting of 11 August 2026, Council resolved to advertise draft modified Local Planning Policy 1.2 – Rural Development.

The proposed modifications provide guidance for future subdivision and development in the Tonkin Highway West area, whilst also providing some additional housing opportunities through additional ancillary dwellings.

To view a copy of draft modified Local Planning Policy 1.2 – Rural Development and make a submission go to yoursay.gosnells.wa.gov.au/planning. Submissions can be made by no later than 4 September 2026 (being 21 days from the date of this notice).

Public notice is given of the following meeting dates and times for the Audit Risk and Improvement Committee. Audit, Risk and Improvement meetings commence at 6pm in the Council Chambers at the City’s Civic Centre, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells.

Tuesday 15 September 2026

Agendas will be available for the public at the Civic Centre, City libraries and online at gosnells.wa.gov.au on the Friday before each meeting, with Minutes available at the above locations on the Friday after each meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend, with doors opening at 5:45pm. Alternatively, live-streaming is available on the City of Gosnells Council Meeting YouTube channel.

Local Planning Scheme No. 24 - Heritage List

17 July 2026

At its meeting of 23 June 2026, Council resolved to include additional places in the City of Gosnells Heritage List under Local Planning Scheme No. 24.

The Heritage Act 2018 requires local governments to establish and maintain a Local Heritage Survey (LHS) of Heritage Places in its district that in its opinion are, or may become, of cultural heritage significance.

In accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 (Regulations), the City is required to establish and maintain a Heritage List to identify those places within the Scheme area that are of cultural heritage significance and worthy of conservation.

The following places are proposed for inclusion in the Heritage List:

  • Crestwood Estate
  • Beckenham Primary School
  • Gosnells Primary School

Relevant landowners are invited to provide comment prior to these places being entered on the Heritage List. You can view OCM Minutes and supporting documents and make your submission at Your Say Gosnells. Submissions can be made on or before Friday 7 August 2026.

Disposition of Property

DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY
SECTION 3.58(2) & (3) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995

The public is advised that the City of Gosnells intends to lease part of Lot 297 on Plan 592 for the installation of a sea container to be used for storage of sports equipment on the following terms:

Property to be leased: 26m2 of Lot 297 Bickley Road, Beckenham.

Lessee: City Football Group Australia Operations Pty Ltd.

Commencement Date: 1 June 2026

Term of Lease: One year from Commencement Date

Option Term: One year plus one year

Consideration: $686 per annum, plus GST increasing by CPI annually

Market Value: Valuation obtained more than 6 months before the proposed disposition. The City believes it to be a true indication of the value at the time.

Notice is hereby given that the sum of $27,864.07 has been owing to the City of Gosnells for a period of 3 years rates/service charges in respect of 105 Attfield Street, Maddington, and unless payment is made of the sum of $35,393.52 within 3 months from the date of this notice the local government will, pursuant to section 6.64 of the Local Government Act 1995, offer the land for sale by public auction at a time and place appointed by the local government.
