Change your details

 

It is important to keep your details up to date to ensure you receive important correspondence, notices, invoices and information relating to City services, properties, permits, registrations and memberships.

The City provides a range of options for updating your details, depending on the type of change you need to make. Whether you need to update your contact information, notify the City of a change in property ownership, advise of a managing agent, or update your name details, relevant information and requirements are available on the pages below.

Available Change of Details Services

  • Change of Address
    There is an obligation on property owners to ensure that Council has the correct address for the service of notices.

  • Change of Name
    If you have recently changed your name, please provide a copy of your Change of Name Certificate or Marriage Certificate via post or email to info@gosnells.wa.gov.au, so that your name details can be updated.

  • Change of Property Ownership
    Under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1995, when a person (whether as principal or agent) sells or disposes of land, the owner/agent must advise the City in writing within 21 days of the change of ownership, giving full details of the purchaser.

    To change your ownership details please provide a copy of your Certificate of Title.

  • Advice of Managing Agent
    Please complete the Advice of Managing Agent form to add or remove a managing agent to a property.
