Guidelines for use of City of Gosnells social media
The City of Gosnells uses social media and digital platforms to connect with residents and provide useful information to help residents get the most out of life in the City.
While we encourage discussion and feedback, people who choose to comment or otherwise engage with the City of Gosnells online are required to be respectful and on topic. Abusive and offensive language or imagery will not be tolerated.
The City of Gosnells reserves the right to remove any content from its online platforms that it deems to be:
- Discriminatory or defamatory
- Abusive, offensive or threatening
- Racist, sexist, homophobic or transphobic
- Harassment or degradation of individuals based on personal characteristics
- Alluding to, or encouraging, illegal activities
- Encouraging violent or hateful behaviour
- Suspected spam, scam or advertising
The City of Gosnells will monitor its social media pages during regular business hours. We reserve the right to restrict commenting on any post without notice. Users who post unacceptable content may be banned at the City’s discretion.
