Park Play
Get ready for a fun-filled Park Play session the whole family will love! Perfect for families with children up to 10 years old, Park Play is packed with engaging activities that spark laughter, creativity, and connection.
Facilitated by the City of Gosnells Families team, Park Play encourages families to play, learn, and make lasting memories together in a relaxed, welcoming outdoor setting with benefits for children and adults alike.
🧩 Sensory Play: supporting children's brain development while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and exploration through touch, sound and movement. Sensory play also helps build focus, confidence and emotional regulation in a fun, hands-on way.
🌱 Nature Play: encouraging children to explore the outdoors, spark imagination, and develop a connection with the natural environment. Nature play also helps to support wellbeing while fostering resilience, curiosity and a love of outdoor play.
🛴 Physical Play: build strength, coordination, and confidence through active games using big game and sporting equipment. Physical play also promotes teamwork, problem-solving and healthy movement habits.
👯 Community Connection: creating opportunities for families to connect, socialise, and build friendships within the local community. Engagement with other parents with shared experiences foster a sense of belonging for both children and parents.

Park Play is held at various City of Gosnells parks throughout the year. Click on the button below to view where Park Play is being held during the school term or holidays. As a drop-in style program, no bookings are required to attend.
While City of Gosnells staff make every effort to support community safety, Park Play sessions are not supervised. As such, parental supervision is compulsory and parents are to remain at the premises with their child/ren for the entirety of the session.
