Baby Play
Join us for Baby Play, a warm and welcoming program created especially for parents, carers and their babies. This relaxed and engaging session provides a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together while supporting your baby’s early learning and development through play.
Little ones can explore age-appropriate activities, move, discover and interact in a safe and nurturing environment, while parents and carers connect with other local families and share experiences.
Baby Play encourages meaningful parent-child interaction and helps build strong foundations for learning, development and wellbeing. Whether you're new to parenting or simply looking for a supportive space to connect, Baby Play is a fun and enjoyable way to learn and grow together.
Facilitated by the City of Gosnells' Families team, Baby Play sessions are thoughtfully designed for both parent and child participation and supports early development while creating meaningful moments between you and your baby:
🧸 Early development: support your baby’s growing brain through simple sensory play, songs and movement that encourage curiosity, exploration and early learning in a fun, nurturing environment.
🧸 Parent-baby connection: strengthen the bond with your baby through shared play experiences and our much-loved Rhyme Time, using music, rhythm and interaction to build attachment.
🧸 Ideas for play at home: discover easy, practical play ideas that support your baby’s development and can be continued at home using everyday items.
🧸 Community connection: meet other local parents, share experiences and build friendships while your baby socialises and explores alongside other little ones.
Baby Play is a drop-in program with no bookings required to attend. Sessions are offered for two age groups to ensure activities are developmentally appropriate. Families are encouraged to attend the session that best matches their baby's age and stage of development.
