Walter Padbury Park
This district reserve located in the heart of Thornlie consists of three large sporting fields which accommodates soccer, cricket and AFL with a smaller grassed area with cricket nets for practice.
All Abilities Playground
A playground complex centrally located at this reserve is easily accessed from all three car parks by a large internal network of footpaths.
The playground provides balance, climb, slide, spin and discovery experiences while also venturing into the nature play theme. A sensory experience, access and mobility is provided as well as utilisation of different soft fall materials. It includes a spiral slide, a ground level seated flying fox and a unity swing which allows child and caregiver to sit face to face.
Located near the playground are barbecue facilities, public toilets, picnic tables under shelter and drinking fountains allowing opportunities for small gatherings and activities.
Berehaven Avenue Oval
Located at the corner of Berehaven Avenue and Cassidy Road this oval provides for AFL and cricket.
Cassidy Road Oval
Located at the corner of Cassidy Road and Rushbrook Way and provides for soccer.
Hume Road Oval
Located off Hume Road this oval provides soccer and cricket pitches. Mulched garden beds with stands of trees screen the residential sides of the reserve providing valuable shade.
