A vehicle is permitted to park on a carriageway for up to 24 hours without moving, providing no other offence is being committed.
A licensed vehicle is permitted to park for a period exceeding 24 hours on a verge with the permission of the owner/occupier of the property adjacent to that verge providing no other offence is being committed.
