The City of Gosnells Museum at Wilkinson Homestead offers an exciting hands-on Education Program for school and homeschool groups, which combines learning with fun.

Heritage volunteering

The City encourages members of the community to volunteer their time to local history and heritage related works.

Heritage workshops and events

Free workshops and events are run periodically on topics related to history and heritage.

History and Heritage Advisory Group

The History and Heritage Advisory Group provides staff with a community perspective on aspects of history and heritage within the City.

History and heritage donations

If you wish to donate photographs, documents or other materials to the City of Gosnells Heritage Collections.

Museum attendants

Volunteers are needed to assist at the Museum for a few hours a week, on a rotational basis.

Museum education presenter

Engage the kids of today with activities of the past at the City's Museum.

Oral history project volunteers

These positions are responsible for conducting audio interviews and/or converting them into kits which are made available to the public.

A dedicated group of volunteers which has researched and collected the history of the Thornlie suburb and its people.
