The City’s Health Service can undertake inspections of commercial and industrial premises to assess compliance with theEnvironmental Protection (Unauthorised Discharges) Regulations 2004.

The Regulations prohibit the discharge of certain waste products into the environment and also prohibits the burning of certain materials.
