Winning webinars for community groups

Local community group volunteers, staff and committee members can expand their expertise with a series of Winning Webinars, as part of the City of Gosnells Growing Together in Gosnells program.

The webinars will cover a range of topics relevant to running a successful community group, including member and volunteer engagement, designing in Canva, grant writing essentials, fundraising fundamentals and risk management.

Starting Monday 24 August, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, the webinars will take place weekly via Zoom.

Mayor Terresa Lynes said participants could join in one webinar, or more, and choose topics relevant to their group.

“We know people who run community groups are very busy, so these webinars are designed to be accessible and convenient,” she said.

“Whether you watch them as a group, on your own, at home, or even on the side of the field during training, these webinars will offer practical ideas and expert guidance to help your community group run more smoothly and efficiently.”
