Wild antics of rock music come to DRPAC

Step backstage for a behind-the-scenes peek at rock music royalty, with legendary Australian photographer Tony Mott at Don Russell Performing Arts Centre (DRPAC) this October.

Tony will share stories, secrets and the wild antics of some of rock music’s biggest names, taking audiences on a journey through unforgettable images that have helped define an era of music history.

Tony has enjoyed an unrivalled career photographing live performances, music festivals, magazine covers and candid backstage moments for some of the biggest names in music, from Madonna to The Rolling Stones and Nick Cave.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said the performance offered audiences a chance to see another side to the music and musicians they know and love.

“For years, Tony Mott and his camera lens have captured music history as it is made,” she said.

“Now, DRPAC audiences will get to hear the stories behind the images and gain a greater understanding of the music industry.

“Blending art, music and history, Through the Lens with Tony Mott offers an incredible insight for music fans.”
