Volunteer with DRPAC
Are you passionate about the arts and want to be part of the magic that happens front-of-house? We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our vibrant team at Don Russell Performing Arts Centre (DRPAC)!
Volunteer roles available include ushers and kiosk attendants.
All volunteers must be able to walk up and down our auditorium stairs.
Ushers: If you are a vibrant, outgoing individual who loves customer service and a good chat, you may be perfect for our usher roles! Usher responsibilities include greeting audience at the door, assisting with questions about the venue, checking tickets and guiding audience to their seats. Ushers also sit in to watch the show, keeping an eye on the audience to ensure a safe, fun and respectful experience for all!
Kiosk attendants: If you love a fast-paced, buzzing environment, then volunteering as a kiosk attendant may be for you! Kiosk attendants serve drinks and snacks from our in-house bar, process payments through our point-of-sale machine, and assist with food service for our catered events. A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accreditation is required to volunteer in the kiosk during events in which alcohol is being served, however, volunteers without an RSA are welcome to help out in the kiosk for non-alcohol events.
