The Addie Mills Centre is the City's community centre for Seniors aged 55+ and operates with a friendly team of City staff and volunteers. This centre provides a welcoming space for community members aged 55+ to socialise and pursue their personal interests.

With a broad variety of weekly programs, there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the week. Explore the centre's features below:

Programs and Services

  • Regular activities including quizzes, concerts, workshops and outings. Subscribe to receive the Seniors quarterly e-newsletter or call the Addie Mills Centre to receive the activity brochure in the mail.
  • Free transport service available to take people to and from the Addie Mills Centre.  A modern, comfortable bus with attendant can pick up and deliver home 17 customers per day. This service is offered Monday - Wednesday and Friday. Please contact the Addie Mills Centre for more information. 

  • Grow and Share Cart. "Give what you can, take what you need"  Donate any excess fresh produce you have with your local community. 

  • A free book and jigsaw swap. Come and browse the shelves, or donate items to share. 

Addie Mills Social Club

The Addie Mills Social Club is an incorporated group that operates from the lesser hall of the centre. New members (over 55) are welcome. The club organises a range of weekly activities including carpet bowls, dancing and bingo.

This club is not operated by the City of Gosnells.

Venue & Room Hire

Venue hire for meetings and workshops are available, for "not for profit organisations" that provide services to seniors and their families.

There are a three rooms available for hire in the Centre between the hours of 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. 

The Waratah Room, Jacaranda Room and Lesser Hall are all available to hire - exclusively for not for profit organisations that provide services to seniors or those living with disability, and their families.

The Seniors 55+ team at the Addie Mills Centre deliver many programs and services to seniors that require volunteers. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact the team to learn more about volunteering and the benefits for volunteers. 

Call for Volunteer Bus Drivers. If you hold an LR licence and are interested in volunteering to support older people stay connected in their community, the team would love to hear from you.
