Drop-In at The Shack

Looking for a chill spot to hang out? Young people are welcome at our youth centres during Drop-In sessions! Meet new friends, play games, and just unwind with Youth Workers on hand. 

No registration is required to attend. Unless stated otherwise, all activities hosted during Drop-In are free and light refreshments provided.

Drop-In at The Shack

Young people who visit The Shack during Drop-In are welcome to use the youth centre's pool table, foosball, table tennis, PS4, Xbox 360, board games, sports gear, and comfy couches to chill on in the open planned drop-in area. The centre also has a fully equipped kitchen, computers, and a workshop room where programs are often hosted. The cool urban art on the walls of The Shack makes for a perfect background for selfies! There is a basketball court, skate park and oval nearby for the outdoor or sport-loving young person. 

Eligibility to attend Drop-In at The Shack

Eligible participants to attend this program must be aged between 10 to 18 years old. 

Dates and Times

All Youth and Families program dates follow the Western Australian Department of Education's school term schedule. Programs do not operate on Western Australian public holidays, as listed on the Government of Western Australia's website.

• Please do not attend the program if you or your child are unwell.
• To ensure the health and wellbeing of families and staff, limits may apply to the number of participants allowed in a building.

Facilitators schedule these much-loved programs in advance.
