Our modern venue attracts over 25,000 patrons each year, and presents over 100 events including touring shows, local performers, Community Theatre and Cultural events.

Planning Your Visit

How to Book

Tickets can be booked through our Online Box Office, by calling us on 9498 9414 or by visiting our Box Office. The Box Office is open 10am-2pm, Monday to Friday.

Location

Our address is 117 Murdoch Road, Thornlie, Western Australia. Find us in the car park of Forest Lakes Shopping Centre.

Parking & Transport

Ample free parking is available. DRPAC is located 2.7km from Nicholson Road Train Station, and 3.6km from Thornlie Train Station, with buses running to within 400m of DRPAC.

Food & Beverage

We have an in-house kiosk serving a range of drinks and snacks. Alcoholic drinks are available at select events. Only drinks and snacks purchased at the in-house kiosk are permitted to be taken into the Auditorium.

DRPAC is located in the Forest Lakes Shopping Centre precinct, with a variety of eateries available nearby for a pre or post show meal.

Lakers Tavern Discount

DRPAC partners with Lakers Tavern to offer our patrons a free drink with meal purchase, on presentation of a same day ticket to a DRPAC event. Drink options available include a small house wine, house beer, soft drink, tea or coffee.

Lakers Tavern is located 100m from DRPAC, across the car park.

Foyer Opening Time

Our Foyer and Kiosk open 45mins prior to the show start time, unless otherwise stated.

Accessibility

DRPAC has a number of universally accessible features, including:

  • Accessible seating located on the 'ground floor'
  • Wheelchair accessible seating spaces
  • Unisex accessible toilet
  • Auracast hearing loop system
  • Companion Cards accepted
  • Noise-reducing headphones and ear plugs available to borrow
  • Seat boosters available to borrow

Venue hire

DRPAC is available for both commercial and community hire.

We offer two areas for hire:

Auditorium
  • Professional theatre with stage and backstage areas
  • Tiered seating for up to 235 people
  • Modern audio and lighting systems
  • 4k projector and cyclorama
  • Green room with full amenities
  • Costume storage room
  • Drive-up loading dock

The Auditorium is suitable for performances, rehearsals, presentations, screenings, conferences, seminars, awards ceremonies and graduations.

Studio
  • Black box studio space
  • Versatile seating and standing arrangements, for up to 80 people
  • Full room black curtaining
  • Sprung dance floor
  • Mirrors
  • Fixed ballet barre
  • Built-in speakers with Bluetooth connectivity
  • Built-in short-throw projector and screen

The Studio is suitable for intimate performances, rehearsals, classes, meetings, workshops, presentations, conferences and seminars.

 

An undercover courtyard can also be hired with either of the main rooms above.

The venue is available to hire between the hours of 7:00am and 11:45pm, 7 days a week.

Use of the DRPAC Foyer is included in all hires, with space to sit, mingle and network. It is a common area primarily used for pre and post event gathering, and drinks from the DRPAC Kiosk/Bar.

Please note: DRPAC is a performing arts venue, and is not suitable for private events such as parties.
