The Whiteley Fishbowl Gallery - Sunshine for the Soul by TBPH

Next date: Saturday, 28 November 2026 | 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM

Sunsets, sunflowers and the art of being human

Inspired by sunflowers, sunsets, landscapes and the changing light of the natural world, the exhibition invites us to pause, reconnect and consider the things that bring colour, meaning and joy to our lives. Claire is a West Australian artist exploring what it means to be human in the natural world.

At the heart of the exhibition is a simple question:

What brings sunshine to your soul?

The works explore themes of growth, connection, resilience, beauty and self-discovery, reflecting Claire's belief that the natural world can offer us moments of stillness, inspiration and perspective.

The exhibition also connects with Claire's To Be Perfectly Human project and its exploration of self-actualisation — the lifelong journey of becoming more fully ourselves.

From vibrant sunflowers reaching towards the light to expansive sunsets and peaceful landscapes, Sunshine for the Soul is an invitation to stop, breathe and notice the beauty around us. Come and find a little sunshine for your soul.

Opening Saturday the 28th of November, Claire is hosting an Artist Talk at 10am and a free activity, decorating an sunflower ornament at 11am (please email claire@tobeperfectlyhuman.com.au to register).
