Noise record (diary)
A noise record (diary)(PDF, 94KB) is strongly recommended and may be required before an investigation can proceed.
The record assists the Environmental Health Officer in determining whether the type, frequency and duration of the noise is unreasonable.
- A record of approximately 14 days is generally sufficient to identify a pattern of unreasonable noise.
- Shorter periods may be accepted in certain circumstances (for example, where the noise is frequent or severe).
You may be required to upload your noise record as part of this request.
