If you have recently changed your name - whether through marriage, deed poll, or another legal process - you are required to notify the City of Gosnells so that your details can be updated across all our records.

Why you need to notify us

The City of Gosnells holds your name on a number of official records, including:

  • The electoral roll and voting records
  • Property and rates accounts
  • Permits, licences, and registered animals
  • Library memberships and facility registrations
  • Correspondence and official notices

Keeping your name current ensures you continue to receive accurate correspondence, avoid delays in services, and that your records remain legally consistent.

What you'll need to provide

Please supply a copy of one of the following documents as proof of your new name:

Marriage Certificate: Issued by the WA Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages
Change of Name Certificate: Issued following a formal deed poll or statutory declaration

A certified copy or clear scan of the document is acceptable. Original documents will not be retained.
