Sunbeams and Me - Summer School Holiday Program

Join us at the library to learn about the science of sun safety!

Summer is here! Time for swimming, surfing and sweat! UV light helps our skin produce vitamin D, but it can also cause sunburn. Let's discover rainbows of refracted light and play safe with sunbeams through science and play. You'll even have the chance to make your own bracelet with beads that change colour in the sun!

For ages 6-12 years. Parents please note that children 12 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
