Brother and sister duo Richard and Karen Carpenter kept a generation spellbound with their vocal harmonies and Karen’s unique voice brought a new dimension to the world of popular music.
They became one of the most popular artists in the world in the 1970’s with a string of major hits including “We’ve Only Just Begun”, “Rainy Days and Mondays”, “Top of the World” and of course “Close to You”.
Australia’s singing sensation Narelle Belle with her highly polished performance accompanied by her Musical Director/Pianist Frank La Cava will take you on a magical journey of music and memories which capture the Karen Carpenter Story.
